The Year of the Dragon is just a couple of days away for its celebration and we listed some interesting 2012 Chinese new year themes of artworks and wallpapers for you to see.
The Chinese new year is a traditional holiday also known as Spring Festival or the Lunar new Year marking the end of the winter season and the beginning of the spring season. Various events and gatherings are being practised during this event like dragon and lion dances, giving of red envelopes, decoration of duilian, family gatherings and fireworks. This year of 2012, Chinese new year is celebrated on the 23rd of the month of January. A couple of days early however we all wish our fellow Chinese a happy and prosperous new year. Xin Nian Kuai Le! Gong Xi Fa Cai!

I have always wondered why in China and Japan Anime is so popular. While I was in China i noticed that many billboards and TV shows are animated, can’t understand this trend as these animations are less emotional end personal than those with real people.
But still great collection with wallpapers!
