Impressive Korra Digital Artworks From Avatar: Legend Of Korra
Time for another digital art inspiration with these must-see fanart of Korra from the Legend of Korra animation.
The Legend of Korra is the sequel to the popular Avatar: The Last Airbender animation which aired from 2005 to 2008 in Nickelodeon. The animation is now set to run for 52 episodes separated into two seasons having two “Books” for each season. The first book, Book: Air, for the first season ran from April 14, 2012 – June 23, 2012 with 12 episodes or chapters. The second book, Book: Spirits, will premiere sometime on 2013.
The series follows Korra, the current incarnation of the Avatar, as she travels to the metropolis of Republic City to learn airbending and face an anti-bender revolutionary group, the “Equalists”. At the start of the series, she has mastered waterbending, earthbending, and firebending, but must complete her training by learning airbending from Tenzin, the youngest child of Aang and Katara from the original series – Avatar: The Last Airbender.
